Tokaido Line E231 Series/E233 Series Train at the South of Kamata Station 3

This train consists of 10-car E231 series and 5-car E233 series.

 

Since E233 series is improved E231 series, the cars look almost the same. Easiest difference is the front surface. The difference of the doors is hard to find. Green/orange line on the body is painted on the door of E233 series, but not on the door of E231 series. The shape of windows on the door is also different.
