Traffic Signal at Naka-no-hashi Crossing
Shutoko (metropolitan expressway) No.4 crosses against Ring Road No.8 here. The road under the elevated road of Shutoko has a wide center divider. So, it looks as if the sidewalk crosses against two narrow roads.
The traffic signal for pedestrians has interesting schedule. The traffic signal at the right upper corner of this photo is green. But the signal ahead is red. Will the signal make traffic jam if its green period is long enough for people to go across the “two narrow roads” ?
