Power Lines on Odakyu Line Bridge across the Tama River

Spring type tensioner is relatively new technology. JR East often uses them. I do not remember spring type tensioner on Tokyu track. The company uses pulley type.

 

The bridge in this photo was built in 2008. It seems that those tensioners were installed at that time.
