Tokyu Tamagawa Line 7700 Series Trains Running toward Kamata Station
Tokyu 7000 series did not have any air conditioning units. Air conditioning units were added when 7000 series were refurbished and turned into Tokyu 7700 series (it was about 1990). Since the unit at that time did not have much capacity, a car has three air conditioning units. The layout of pantograph and the units on the roof might be a problem. The interval of the air conditioning units is irregular.
Recent cars have only one air conditioning unit. So they do not have such design problem.
