Mito-bashi and Kosuge Junction

Mito-bashi is a bridge across the Ayase River. Somehow the bridge is separated to two bridges: a bridge for cars and a bridge for pedestrians. And the bridge for pedestrians has a center line. I guess the intention of this design is to keep bikes out of the lane for cars.
