Cover of Shutoko No.3 Repainting Work
On 2014 March 20th, we had a fire accident under repainting work cover of Shutoko No.3. Paint solvent was spilled onto a light, and it caught a fire. It took three days before the expressway fully re-opened.
This photo was taken one and a half hours after the expressway fully re-opened. I think this spot is close to the location of the accident, but I do not know the exact location.
It is interesting that the cover is cut for the street lamp. It seems that the space around the expressway is very narrow. Perhaps that is the reason why paint solvent was spilled onto a light.
