Ventilation System Being Altered at Marunouchi Exit of Tokyo Station
The building behind the construction site is Marunouchi Exit of Tokyo Station. The new station building had a problem: a pair of ventilation system was hiding it. At the construction site in this photo, one of the ventilation systems was being cut. The height of the system was reduced to one third: from 13m tall to 4m tall.
A photo taken after the station building was completed is shown in “Tokyo Station Marunouchi Exit.” It shows the ventilation systems hiding the new building.
It is reported that the work to reduce ventination system height was finished before 2014 June.
