Top of Tokyo Tower in 2013 October
The work at the top of Tokyo Tower has two purposes. One is to remove analog TV broadcasting facilities. The other is reinforcement. This part of the tower was bent by big earthquake in 2011. Temporary fix was done at the time, but aseismic reinforcing work was still needed.
The work in 2011 is shown in “Top of Tokyo Tower Being Fixed.”
