Railroad Crossing at the West of Kamata Station
Tokyu Tamagawa Line and Ikegami Line share terminal station at Kamata. This photo was taken near Kamata, at the east of the spot where two lines were divided. So, the road crosses against the two pairs of tracks. The closer one is Ikegami Line and the other is Tamagawa Line.
It is interesting that both crossings are closed every time a train comes. If they are not synchronized, it may increase the probability of an accident. If a car enters a crossing and finds the other crossing closed, the car does not have a way to escape.
