HDR Moon Composite

Composite Moon. Zoom for detail!

(Disclaimer: not a single image)

This compositing technique involved shooting multiple panels of the 1st quarter Moon and stacking the best frames and then stitching them together as a mosaic Then blending this with a full Moon (darkened) to replicate the shadowed side. A separate sky exposure is then added for some drama. Again, not a 'real' single image but rather a blend of a few different ones.

C11 XLT, Altair 385c and Canon EOS RP.
