December Newbees Block #2

string block for Kristin using film in the fridge tutorial.

 

so, i had such a hard time with the paper piecing of the first one, that i did it a little differently for the second block and found it to be much easier for me (although i still messed things up and had to go back in and pull out one strip and put in a couple of different ones!)

 

i just glued the center strip on the scrapbook paper and then stitched one strip down on both sides to start the paper piecing and then from there ripped the paper off and just kept adding strips down both sides until it was big enough to square up to 12 1/2".

 

hopefully that made sense and might help someone else!
