I started this quilt around the 4th of July 2008. The idea came from Quiltville.com. I love scrappy quilts more than any style of quilts.

Doing a little rework
I have no excuse now! I must complete my Scrappy Bargello! Thank you so much Diane. I stalled after the first panel. This will give me the motivation I needed. My sunflower quilt is benefiting from this wonderful gift as well.

I set in the start of a 3rd row of cats in the scrappy Bargello. I stopped at JoAnn's yesterday and found the blue cat fabric to the right that is the perfect scale for this project.

They are out! Now to decide what goes in their place.
If you look closely at the centers of each letter fabric I have worked in my name with middle and last initial.

So exciting. The 10th column will be added before the day is over.
Panel 4 and 5 are one square too short. I will need to go up 10 and add a row since I will never find these fabrics. I am adding a row of butterflies. See that yellow. I also have a white with blue accents that I noticed is in the quilt twice.
On the floor. Working on last column. I see a section I may want to adjust. It is the 3rd and 4th column and about 40 blocks down. It is too light for the rest of the quilt and too light blue.
Oh my goodness! I ripped out that section of the quilt and made a whole new section and now just found the strips that were misplaced. Isn’t that how it always goes?
I have misplaced 5 cats. I have 9 more sweet fussy cut kitties that are going in it’s place. One problem area solved. I thought I would have found them by now. No go! I have about 30 squares in the 10th and last panel and the top is done. Just about!:thum

It is ready for binding! I am going to do a scrappy binding in all 6 rainbow 🌈 colors. This quilt is not quilted yet. I am going to do that once it is bound. Any suggestions for quilting designs would be appreciated. Happy New Year!
