Q_uilted T_hrifted
I ran to the thrift store and was excited to find a solid purple shade but… I got home and it is already in the quilt top.
I thrifted 4 bags of fabric 2 for $1.49 ea and 2 for $1.99 ea. 1 bag of muslin perfect for a signature quilt. 1 bag of Christmas and hearts and the polka dot. Two bags of fabrics with fat quarters still with the cardboard in them. They look like they are from a Michaels store. They are not quilt store quality fabric but it will work in my “On The Diagonal and my Nine Patch both using 1” cut or 1/2” finished pieces. Tonight I am cutting 1” strips of each of the print fabrics. You know what…. I think I will wash them first.
