Thrifted Quilt
I took this quilt to our Tuesday Quilt group tonight. There were 9 out of 11 of us there. I showed the quilt a few months ago the last time we met at my house but one of the members wasn't there. She asked me to bring it again tonight. She noticed that the white fabric is one L*A*R*G*E piece of fabric. There are no seams in this entire quilt. NONE. The quilter embroidered the cats and dogs onto the quilt and then straight stitched the green strips right over the top of the white fabric. Last time we met we couldn't figure out why there was this half block area on the end. Well, the strips were sewn on after the embroidery was done.
The bottom two rows of sashing are a different shade of green.
