Celebration Dinner
I finished my last radiation treatment on Monday. Tuesday I met with the medical oncologist and I will start my anti-hormone drug mid-February. I may be in a study I have a 50/50 chance. It will be with a drug used for metastasized cancer and results are already showing with this 2nd drug there may be a longer time frame before the cancer may return. I am in remission. I am currently cancer free. I am celebrating! Thursday I met with a life coach and will need to have a bone density test done before I start medications. She also stressed I follow through with my regular medical care of going to the dentist, having a colonoscopy and my annual mammogram. I am having some swelling in my arm so it is back to the physical therapist and have a fluid retention test done. I may have to start wearing a sleeve on my arm. I spent the evening with the ones I love.
