Melva's potholder
I photo'd the pumpkin potholder a few years ago and today with a sinus cold I drafted the pattern and over about 6 hours off and on cut 1 1/2 inch squares and auditioned different pieces. I put dot fabric for the cheeks. I think it adds a bit of whimsy. Now to get the energy to sew the pieces together. I am using an old iron board cover for the backing of this potholder. You know me! I can't throw anything away.
Note: yes I did fussy cut the spider web fabric so the center of the web would be the pupil of the eyes. It's just what I do!
