(5-12) Saxon & Biscuit ~ pretty boys
sorry this is another "just in case I don't get anything better" shot from about 1/2 way through the month.
They've been going through a behaviour modification program together, they are fine by themselves, but I needed some help/motivation to do something about their unmanageable behaviour around off-lead dogs (I've been uncontrollably dragged towards off-lead dogs). Biscuit is the instigator of the unpleasant/aggressive advances on unruly dogs, Saxon just comes in to see what's going on & with his size it can be a bit scary. The trainer is very competent & is very pleased with the work we've accomplished after only 3 sessions. I had obviously put in a lot of ground work (they both know how to heel & understand a bridge etc.) so it's been fairly easy going, but it's good to get a professional opinion & gives me the impetus to take control. I also feel I'm not very competent at identifying their intentions, so I'm learning a bit more about how they interact with other dogs, which is always useful, and giving me the confidence to intervene when necessary, and let it be otherwise, yes?
However, it has meant together these guys haven't had any off-lead park play for a while, therefore no photos of them together anywhere interesting.
