Craniac and Caution Sign - Thank You
Something for the Craniacs! I wanted to give a special thank you to my friend and neighbor Lorraine who created these signs to help remind people to slow down and watch out for our crane family. I just love them and acquiesced to a photo with the sign when one of our campus Craniacs insisted as she saw me setting them up after work today. Thanks Gail!
I think the signs are totally cute and eye-catching? My friend Lynn Zablo the bird rescuer and Sandhill Crane Whisperer insisted on paying for one of the 4 signs saying, “If it saves one life or prevents one injury to the family, it’s priceless!” Awwww, love you Lynn, for this and so much more!
We have over 100 Craniacs at my workplace, probably more, if not obsessively engaged as yours truly, certainly caring and looking out for our cranes. Thank you to all the CRANIACS at work and elsewhere. I get goose-bumps when I think about it. “Goose-bumps”, LOL! Uh-oh!! “Bird nerd alert! Danger Ms. Audubon member, back away from the photostream before you scare off the normal people!” Hee hee hee!
I hope this encourages you to think, what you might be able to do, to give a little bit more than you thought you could, and it's about the little things, picking up trash, something just because it's the kind thing to do, a random act of kindness to a stranger, if only letting them go first at an intersection. Consider that your act of kindness could create a chain reaction. XXOO!!!!
