Clan TME134M Kyle 1993

TME134M was the last surviving ex Glentons AEC with Clan, lasting until well into the 1990s. It is seen here at rest at Clan's shoreside depot on the former A87 road (by-passed in the 70s) via Badicaul, with the red Cuillin range of Skye in the background.

TME was AH 505 engined but with the AEC 6 speed crash gearbox, and was supposedly a bit of a pig to drive (well it would be if you were used to a B10M Van Hool!). Another example of the breed (BAN113H if I recall correcty) is seen being cannibalised alongside.

TME entered preservation and was seen on the rally circuit for a few years, but I haven't seen it in a long while and wonder if it's still around. Does anyone out there know?
