Actor John Barrymore plays the roll of a eccentric playwright (Oscar Jaffe) who molds Carole Lombard an unknown model into his star leading lady (Lillian Garland)

 

Also staring Walter Connolly as business manager and Roscoe Karns as his drunk assistant. A screwball comedy if any there was one! A must see for the classic film fan!
