Cap'n Crunch
"Cap'n Crunch" was a breakfast cereal available in the UK in the 1960s. Advertised on TV by a crew of cartoon characters the cereal was popular with children. It was however, very sweet and could make your teeth ache.
A work colleague told me it was still available in America, manufactured by Quaker Chicago, and in 2009 brought me a packet back. The taste was just as I remembered it! Cap'n Crunch's eyes with his hat pushing behind them and eyebrows half way up his hat caused me concern - that must hurt, or perhaps not - he's just a cartoon!
