First Potteries Scania/Wright 60058
In 1998 nine Scanias with Wright Axcess ultralow bodies became the first Barbie buses to operate in The Potteries. New to First PMT all were placed on service 6 Kidsgrove-Meir Park, passing through the main Pottery towns. Originally given Crosville-style fleet numbers SSS813-21 (S813-21AEH), these became 60055-63. All nine are still allocated to First Potteries, but now appear on other services, besides 6. 60058 (S816AEH) is distinctive from the rest of the batch as it has been fitted with an electronic destination display. The bus was working service 26 on 23 March 2010. (The display was working correctly, the missing information is down to my camera.)
