Knotty 19
Prompted by the photo posted by DevonGeneral1212 of former Knotty 19 standing forlornly at Winkleigh, I found this photo I took in happier times for the bus. The occassion was the 1998 Potteries Rally. The venue and attendance left so much to be desired, that POPS abandoned the Rally Calendar for the next two years. Fortunately a brave soul - modesty prevents me from saying who - decided to resurrect the Potteries rally in 2001 at a new venue and a new time of year, and the Rally has since continued to grow in popularity.
Knotty 19 is an AEC Reliance with Plaxton Derwent body, new in 1971, and was I believe sourced from Chiltern Queens in 1992 - I'm sure Renown will correct any mistakes I've made, after all this is an AEC, not a VR (LOL!).
