REMEMBERING AUTUMN

I needed to warm things up a bit, so I did another experiment with fall colors...thinking of the trees at the end of my driveway this fall...:)

This again was done with Watercolor, Acrylic and Dr Ph Martin's Bleed Proof White.

The white of the trees is done first in white acrylic and dried.

The watercolor is applied as very wet washes and spattering.

I also used a piece of sponge on this one with the watercolor.

Lastly when it was almost dry, the white spattering was done with the bleedproof white.

I used a 130 lb. paper from a company in Oregon called Pentalic Fine Art Products. It is artist quality and works for any medium except oils. It has a neutral ph and is 25% cotton. I like this company because they donate a percentage to The American Wildlife Foundation. So far this paper works well for anything I have experimented with...:) The name of this sketchbook/paper is ''Nature Sketch""...:)
