'Allegory' Progress #2
Progress has been moving quickly, especially since this represents only 2 days' worth of puzzling. I had no time even to think about the puzzle during the week, but yesterday and this morning were devoted to it. I love working on puzzles in the morning light - it's so much easier on the eyes and my progress seems to go much faster. (My mind is probably sharper then, too.) No artificial light source can compare.
I also enjoy listening to music while I work on a puzzle. I used to buy a lot of CDs and LPs, but in this day and age web radio and podcasts are the way to go. One of my favorite online radio shows at the moment is "Gilles Peterson Worldwide," a 3-hour weekly program on BBC Radio 6. It plays from 3 - 6 p.m. on Saturdays (you can also stream it after the fact) and I had the pleasure of listening in live yesterday morning. The music is always fresh and stimulating.
