2000 piece puzzle, "Le Bal à Bord" by James Tissot, Educa, Spain.
My sixth puzzle of the 2017 Mega-Marathon hosted by puzzle-forum.de.
This one was a joy to assemble all the way through. First, the quality of the pieces was so much better than anything I had worked so far. Older Educas (this one from 1998) are just so well made.
I love the composition of this painting, and the dominance of linear details - the flags, the ropes, the railings and the floorboards. I started the puzzle at about 11 a.m., worked until 4, took a break for an hour, and then went back and finished it at around 10:30 that evening.
Completed in 10 hr., 20 mins. 18.6 secs/piece; 193.6 pcs/hr. Difficulty rating: 1.9/10.
