Nikon D3 ISO6400 Test

This is more preparations for this spring's Canadian Junior National Handball Championships in Quebec. Not knowing what kind of lighting I will face in Quebec City, I am testing how far I can push the D3 in terms of ISO.

I spent the entire game at ISO6400, using a borrowed AFS 70-200mm 2.8G VR1 from my friend Rob. The zoom ring on this lens is very different than my AF 80-200mm 2.8D, it took about half a game to come to grip with it. Focus is noticeably faster on acquisition and much better on tracking.
