My Pattern Modifications

I know this is a 1911 corset sew-along, but I naturally have about a 14 inch hip spring. If I were a teenager I would have loved getting some hip reduction, but now I'm all about embracing it! So I've decided to keep the original pattern waist and add to the hips and a bit to the underbust.

The original lines are those dark bold curves, and my additions are on the outside. I added them using the bezier curves on my favorite photo editing program (an old version of Paint Shop Pro), and not a hip curve, so I may have to go back and do some editing later (in fact, I think I made some marks on a few of the pattern pieces in light pen just in case). I also did some resizing of the pattern in this program, but due to my errors when viewing them in another browser and printing them out, I had to resize it about 196% more after that. Oh well!

I don't think the registration marks really line up anymore after editing them out in straight lines, but they still line up at what may be the most important part--the waist. Not totally sure about the curves I added in at the top and the bottom to make the edges line up, either...
