Juicy, Red Tomatoes That Pop In Your Mouth
Barney and his family of 18 African spur tortoises were happily munching away when we arrived. They had carrots, lettuce and cauliflower scattered all about for them to eat, but the majority of the tortoises seemed to prefer the juicy red tomatoes.
Since they don't wear name tags, I don't know which one is Barney, but with all the photos I took he's bound to be in one of them. Regardless, they were amazing to see and watch, and were a huge hit with the crowd, but the tortoises never showed the first sign of interest about all the paparazzi.
