My Reward
There are several places in the backyard that are overgrown with weeds, vines of all kinds, and small bushes that have taken root. Can you say jungle? Since we've recently had some rain and mild temps, I started clearing out one area way in the back of the yard a few weeks ago. This weekend I felt inspired (not really) to get back out there again. Still lots to do.
After filling one yard-trash trash bin with vines, briars and small bushes, I 'accidentally' uncovered this rather nice sized group of mushrooms growing next to the neighbor's fence.
Fortunately, it was time to quit, the bin was full and my energy was spent, so finding these mushrooms was my reward for all my hard work! The Flickrite in me somehow managed to go get my camera and make it back outside to take some photos, wanting to show off my trophy for the day. LOL!
