It’s A Newspaper on the Death Star
It’s been a long month this week, but now that it’s finally over, Stormtrooper Bruce is ready for a nice relaxing weekend with some much needed “Me Time.”
TK-NuB: Sorry to intrude, sir, but I’ve got Night Duty tonight, and found the Emperor’s nephew wandering the halls. He claims he needed to see you.
STB: Newbie! I’ve told you numerous times not to call me sir!
TK-Nub: Understood, but while on duty it just seems necessary.
NL: Unka Dude, Unka Dude! It’s me again. I’m bringing a nice homemade note to wish you Happy Valentine’s Day! But, where are your friends?
STB: Oh, they’re a no show! Both caught some nasty bug, and decided it was best not to come. Maybe next weekend. So, what’s your name today?
NL: Oh, today I’m Neville Longbottom. No one appreciated him until he got rid of that no good Nagini. I thought it’d be neat to be an unsung hero!
STB: OK, well… um, thanks for the Valentine’s note. It’s really nicely made!
TK-NuB: Not to be nosey, sir, but what’s that you’re reading?
NL: Oh, I know! I know! It’s a newspaper. Unka Pappy says nearly all cultures across the galaxy get their news in a great number of ways, including a newspaper. So, he prints his own Death Star Daily with all the latest news everyone needs to know!
TK-NuB: What? Why not just use our communicators? That’s nuts!
NL: Not really. Signals can be jammed, or worse. This way he can spread the news, and hide nuggets of information to those who know how to read between the lines!
TK-NuB: OK, now I’m totally lost.
STB: Oh, not to worry. Hey look, here’s a nugget – New line cook needed at the Mess Hall. In other words, expect long lines, and… do not eat the “New Dish of the Day.” Need I say more?
TK-NuB: That’s total nonsense! Wait… the 'new' dish - no way!
NL: Hey, I know Mr. Security Guard, why not get your own newspaper. Then you and Unka Dude can trade nuggets!
TK-NuB: This must be a nightmare. I need to wake up. Now!
STB: Welcome to my world. Never a dull moment, eh?
NL: Ooh, a nanner! Can I have it?
