Teamwork
It's been fun watching the birds working on this seed log the past few days. It was broken in half when I removed it from the packaging, and I wondered how long it would last being so compromised?
In no time the birds showed up, like these House Finches, and just started pecking away. In time I noticed how the birds seemed to be working on the middle broken area first, and now it looks like an hourglass.
This is a pepper treated sunflower meat log, which the squirrels have not wanted to have anything to do with, otherwise, I'm sure the log would have been long gone by now.
