It's October 1st and our house is already showing signs Halloween is one the way.
Our kitchen island may be looking quite Halloweeny with a few of our seasonal decorations, but the highlight of this display is that little wooden box containing our Halloween Fortune Cookies!
I've been buying them for years, and during the month of October, we'll each get one every evening after dinner. This year I found an actual Countdown to Halloween calendar, similar to an Advent Calendar, so now we get to open a little window each night before checking our fortunes.
