It’s Bananas on the Death Star
Having been given a few days off from his duties for a job well done on an recent assignment, Stormtrooper Bruce woke up early hoping to catch the first shuttle to one of the nearby planets to check out the spaceport and stock up on snacks for his next Movie Night. However, it seemed the universe had other plans for STB.
BD: Unka Dude! Unka Dude! You won’t believe it! It’s BANANAS!
STB: You’re right, I don’t believe it! Who are you? And why have you come barging in, brandishing a banana, in the middle of my breakfast?
BD: You’re so funny. It’s not brandished, it’s perfect… not a single bruise on it! I’m here because we have bunches of bananas from Unka Pappy’s Tentacle Gardens ponic bay!
STB: Wait. What? Bananas from the Hydroponics Bay in the Botanical Gardens? Is that really safe to eat? You do know about that experimental section, right?
BD: Oh, I almost forgotted to tell you, today I’m Billy Dilly the Ballet Dancer. Can’t you tell?
STB: Billy Dilly??? That’s silly! You can to better than that.
BD: OK. I’m Billy Dilly, the bestest ballet dancer ever born! That’s make believe, btw.
STB: I think we’ve been down this road before. OK, little lord of the dance, let’s get back to the bananas before I go batty. What’s the big deal?
BD: OH! Beware the bananas – they make you blue!
STB: As in Yondu Blue, or more like Ortolan blue? Who cares, I’ll take a bunch of those bananas. Oh, it’s only temporary, right?
BD: The blue varies from person so person. Unka Pappy’s bummed because he wanted them to turn you gold. And no one knows how long it lasts, yet.
STB: That’s too bad. As much as I appreciate your visit, Little Billy, I’m really busy! I’ve got things to buy and goodies to bake. So, you should leave for now. Bye bye! Bon Voyage. And thanks for the bizarre warning – it was totally bananas!
