Sharing

On a very cold winter's afternoon it was nice to see this female Downy Woodpecker sharing the seedlog with a Goldfinch who just had to check it out, not willing to wait his turn.

I've noticed if a bird is at this feeder and a bigger one shows up the first one flies off. But, if a smaller bird shows up and stays on its side of the feeder, most of the time the first one will stick around and "share" the feeder.
