A Blank Canvas on the Death Star
Having given up on finding a safe planet to hold the promised ship wide picnic, Palpatine has decided to hold it in the Botanical Gardens on the first day of his upcoming Haunted Alley. Now to get things ready.
STB: OK, time to brainstorm. Vader is counting on me to pick some amazing theme for the P's DSBG and Picnic. What about a certain overrated desert planet with two suns? A true nightmare to us all.
TK-1110: You ARE planning to let Vader know WE helped, right?
STB: That goes without saying! He knows I can't do anything without you two.
TK-432: If you want my opinion, anyplace but a desert. I may be a Sandtrooper, but I don't want a picnic on a desert. Too many scorpions. Forget Tattooine!
TK-1110: In that case, we don't want any jungles either, too many mosquitoes.
STB: And we probably don't want any beaches. Too many sand flies. So where in the galaxy can we go?
TK-1110: How about Haddonfield?
TK-432: You mean where Michael Meyers went cray cray on a bunch of babysitters? We need a real place.
STB: Wait a second - that's brilliant! Let's pick a fictional place - some place scary!!
TK-432: Well, I've always thought Azkaban with all those Dementors sounded scary!
TK-1110: Yeah, but we need some place worse than that! How about Silent Hill? Totally messed up. I still get the creeps every time I hear sirens.
STB: I've got it! What about this? Mordor for Haunted Alley, and hidden inside the gardens - Lothlorian for the picnic. And over the entrance we'll put “One does not simply walk into Mordor.”
TK-432: That's perfect! But not sure the P knows about Middle Earth.
STB: Who cares? Vader delegated this to me. If the P hates it, Vader will take the heat. But really, how could anyone hate Middle Earth?
TK-432: Let's get cracking, we've got a lot of work to do to make this happen!
TK-1110: You sure we can't keep this graffiti? I'd like to add a little something of my own!
