Generations

We try to visit the Lotus Pond at Dauset Trails a couple of times every year when the flowers are in bloom. It's such a peaceful setting where we can sit and relax and enjoy our surroundings out in the woods.

 

I never tire of these towering Lotus blossoms and am constantly amazed at how many different stages they go through during their life cycle - as demonstrated in this photo.
