What To Do?

This very unusual looking tree started growing in my backyard several years ago, unlike any of the other trees from around here, most likely a gift from some bird who dropped a seed.

It has grown quite nicely providing considerable shade during the hot summer months, and the birds seem to love sheltering among the branches as they scan the yard and surrounding area before going to the feeders.

Last year was the first year I noticed it had seeds in the Fall but I never researched to see what it was until just now, wanting to provide a name of the tree for this post. If research is correct it has many names including Chinese Tallowtree, Florida Aspen, and even Popcorn Tree, and is considered invasive and not a native tree at all.

So, I was liking this tree until now. I definitely don't want an invasive, non-native tree in my yard since I'm trying to create a natural habitat for the wildlife that visits. So, I don't know what to do? Grrr
