The Old Friday mosque is the oldest mosque of Moroni. It is also called the Badjanani Mosque.
I find that the mosque was constructed in 1427/831 AH and the minaret added in 921/1339 AH. (source: www.archnet.org/sites/15056)
(hmmmm..... I have my doubts about that. )
There are several shipwrecks in this harbour.
