Church Window with Graph
Type of graph: Polar (Rose Petal)
Equation: g (θ) =0.75cos (2θ)
Description: This window was a perfect example of a Rose petal polar curve. While I already have a Polar graph, I thought a rose petal polar graph was somewhat of a necessity. This is a polar graph because it travels through the origin. I chose to multiple theta by two, because I wanted there to be four petals. For even numbers, it is imperative that half of the desired number of petals be plugged in to the equation. The equation pictured above allowed me to model the shape of the unique window in the form of a polar rose petal curve.
