My first image of Mars.

 

I imaged 5-6 sets of 3000 frames through IR , RGB filters.

 

Equipment used

SW EQ8-R Pro mount

APM LZOS 152 F8 APO

ZWO ASI290MM camera

IR-RGB Filters

Baader 2x VIP Barlow

 

Steps taken to produce my Mars image from start to finish.

 

1.SharpCap (Image capture)

2.AutoStakkert (Stacking)

3.Registax (Sharpen)

4.WinJupos (Rotation)

5.PhotoShop (IR-RGB Alignment and final adjusting)

 

 

I’m very pleased how the Mars image turned out but might try again with the rotation part, as it could be better. Also the white polar cap and the white edge have been over processed.
