Cambie St, east side between 7th and 8th Avenues
From auto dealership, to Doppler supercomputers to AMG Motors/Sportsmart, this building finally bit the dust when "The Rise" development was created (Save-on Foods, Home Depot and Winners all-in-one), with rental apartments on top. Prior to this building was Standard Milk at the corner of Yukon and 8th .
Anyone know what the face of Cambie looked like prior to this?
City of Vancouver Archives seems to suggest that an amazing Art Deco building existed here "Nelsons Laundry" between the 1930's and 40's:
