Yellow Polyester Komon & Teal Obi Kitsuke
I went out for lunch with a friend today and had a hard time coordinating an outfit together that would match the bag I wanted to use. Eventually, I came up with this! (at uh, 6am this morning after waking up at 4am and tossing and turning a bit too much XD;;)
I'm using a yellow polyester hitoe komon with stripes and roses and some sort of leaf (got it from Shinei!), and a teal summerweave hakata obi. There isn't a hint of teal anywhere on the kimono, but I thought the obi would make a nice contrast and match the outfit with my bag (teal, with an accessory of yellow and pink).
It's abit too sudden an amount of teal, I think, so I balanced it out with teal earrings. I wanted to wear teal zori, but I don't have any blue or green zori in anywhere near the right shade....
I'm wearing a pink ro obiage and yellow summerweave obijime to balance out the colours a little more :)
Random note: The flowers in my kitchen match my outfit! XD;;;;
