Surprise encounter

I stopped off at Col. Sam Smith Park on the way home from a trip to the city. This juvenile Peregrine Falcon perched beside a lakeshore pathway was not the least bit fazed by the people walking by. One of those pleasing days when you see something totally unexpected!
