Persistent Sapling

Once the paddy is harvested it is layed out in bundles in the field itself. It was the pattern of these laid out bundles that initially drew me to take the shot and finally this little green sapling that was standing out of the field caught my eye and provided an interesting point of contrast

 

Notes: Black and White conversion and selective colouring via layer masking (colour layer and B&W layer). Adjustment to curves to boost contrast in B&W layer
