Casting a Line in Skirt and Heels

This young lady showed up along the pier in Osaka as I was watching the sunrise in the early morning. It struck me that her outfit wasn’t the “traditional clothing” that I’ve seem during the many times that I’ve walked this pier. I’ve seen many women fishing, but never in a fancy outfit. We talked for a bit before I left, describing where I was from and what fish I liked to catch. I mentioned Northern Pike and she smiled and her eyes lit up as she told of her dream to catch Pike in a lake. It was a nice encounter and she was wonderful to talk to.
