Olm/Hollenbeck?
This image is from a family photo album loaned to me by Mary Heinrich Aloi, owner of Vintage Inspired Lifestyle Marketplace in South Burlington, Vermont. She hoped to return this album to the family and knew I enjoyed researching such items. If you recognize any of these people or buildings, contact me at jrobertsvt AT earthlink DOT net.
We believe this image was taken across the street from 38 Chapel Street, Hudson, New York --the residence of Ezra and Emma Meicht. The vertical plank between the two subjects reads "...LENBECK '84". The 1900 census showed a Hollenbeck family living on the opposite side of the street from 38 Chapel. For clarity, I clipped out the image of the plank, enhanced the contrast, rotated it 90 degrees, stretched the letters to compensate for perspective, and pasted it in on the bottom of the image.
