Bristol Bombay

Hopelessly outdated as a bomber for WWII, but served well as a transport medivac aircraft in Crete and the Middle East. These machines saved a great many lives. One carried the new General to take over in Africa, but the aircraft was shot down and they all aboard were killed. The replacement general was Montgomery, and the rest is history.
