Launching our UAV
The word drone seems to have quite negative connotations these days, so we tend to call ours a UAV (Unmanned Aeriel Vehicle). This is part of my work - in this instance we are flying over the Somerset levels, in order to get high resolution aerial imagery, so that we can study the state of the rhynes (ditches) in terms of vegetation and algae in the water.
