Alina Lodge
Little Hill-Alina Lodge has been dedicated to helping the reluctant alcoholic/addict to recover since 1957.
Little Hill-Alina Lodge is a 95 bed, long term, residential rehabilitation center for chemically addicted men and women, 18 years of age or older. Total abstinence from all mood and mind altering substances, including nicotine, is required. We are located on 77 rural acres in Hardwick Township, Warren County, New Jersey, and just 10 miles from beautiful Delaware Water Gap. The well-kept grounds contain six residential buildings including a fieldstone house that predates the Revolutionary War.
Little-Hill Alina Lodge is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health. Our program offers education and therapy regarding alcoholism / chemical addiction and recovery. People in residence are referred to as "students" and attend daily sessions or classes. Each student is assigned to an addiction counselor who coordinates the student's care.
Our staff is comprised of highly competent, experienced professionals including certified addictions counselors, an attending physician, nurses, lecturers, and a dietitian, most of whom are recovering persons themselves. Our program philosophy is based on the principles of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
The Lodge creates a safe environment of openness and encourages deep self-awareness. It provides individual and group counseling sessions on Trauma, Grief and Recovery. Each student is coached to make decisions based upon new values.
The Lodge supports and encourages the ability to see healthy options and respects each student's efforts and competence. It also provides the "tincture of time" necessary for each student to practice newly learned decision making abilities so they become second nature by the time the student returns to society.
